Washington, DC  –   Development InfoStructure Inc. [Devis] will be recognized as the ‘Small Business Spotlight’ at the Peak Series CIO Breakfast on Thursday, March 4th at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, Virginia. In addition, Peak Series program will feature presentations by Jerry Horton, Chief Information Officer [CIO] of the U.S. Agency for International Development [USAID] and Mauricio Vera, Director of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization for USAID.

Devis and its Latina owner, Cristina Mossi, are being recognized for the company’s 17 years of service to USAID as a prime contractor. The company’s expertise includes Global IT Training, Application Development, Tier 2 & 3 Help Desk Support and Secure, Cloud-based Managed Services with Disaster Recovery & Local COOP Protection.

Supporting USAID’s mission critical operations effectively and efficiently has driven Ms. Mossi to lead Devis in the creation of an array of new tools in Monitoring and Evaluation, Program Implementation and Knowledge Management.

The minority woman owned small business was founded in 1992 to provide innovative, but most importantly practical approaches to information management.

USAID recently selected Devis to undertake deployment and operational support for the Global Acquisition and Assistance System [GLASS].  The project will streamline USAID’s procurement process in over 80 countries worldwide.  In addition, Devis will provide 24/7 support for all of the agency’s contracting staff.
