Vienna, VA - The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (VAHCC) will hold its northern Virginia kick-off and reception on March 2^nd , at the Hilton Springfield. The KICK OFF reception will launch the new VAHCC state-of-the-art website with the addition of an online career and procurement opportunities section developed with the help of IT experts from Capital One Financial Corporation’s Pro Bono volunteer program.   The chamber will unveil its new initiatives in northern Virginia and showcase its new Web site that will help small businesses looking to form business partnerships with established companies.

The event will feature a keynote address by Mr. Danny Vargas, president of VARcom Solutions, former President of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce and long time supporter of the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The KICK-OFF Reception will launch the new VAHCC state-of-the-art website with the addition of an on-line career center and procurement opportunities section developed with the help of Capital One’s Tech Core volunteers.  In attendance will be Dr. Gerald Gordon, president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority -a sponsor of the VAHCC-, and many NOVA 2010 Advisory Board members (listed below)

“The Hispanic business community is one of the fastest growing parts of the national economy as well as of Fairfax County’s economy,” Dr. Gordon said. “The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is a great vehicle for Hispanic-owned companies to be part of the dynamic economy here, and it is a great bridge for larger companies to develop partnerships with Hispanic-owned firms.”

A statement from VAHCC President and founder Mr. Zajur - “Programs of the VAHCC are designed to empower the help with the success of  growing Hispanic businesses.” Mr. Zajur is pleased to announce the upcoming programs, advisory board and recently hired director for NOVA.  Mr. Guillermo Muhech, a corporate attorney from Mexico City specializing in corporate and international law will head the NOVA expansion.
