AAHHE proudly announces the 2012 AAHHE/ETS Outstanding Dissertations Competition!

Phoenix, AZ This competition is open to anyone who has completed a dissertation that focuses on Hispanic(s) in higher education or to any Hispanic individual who has completed a dissertation in the social sciences, broadly defined, between December 2009 and August 1, 2011.

The top three winners will be invited and sponsored to attend the 7th Annual AAHHE National Conference (March 8-10, 2012) in Costa Mesa, California to present their dissertation and receive their award. The first place winner will receive an award of $5,000, the second place winner will receive $2,000, and the third place winner will receive $1,000.

Please share the attached dissertation guidelines with faculty, colleagues, recent doctoral graduates and current candidates who are eligible and encourage them to apply!

Deadline to submit a dissertation abstract for the competition:

September 5, 2011!
