Washington, D.C. - On February 12th, LATINA Style Inc., the premier company addressing the needs of Latina professionals and business owners in the United States, will host the 22nd Annual LATINA Style 50 Awards and Diversity Leaders Conference, honoring the LATINA Style 50 companies and their highest-ranking Latina executives at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Launched in 2004, the LATINA Style 50 Report is the most respected evaluation of corporate America's career advancement opportunities for Latinas. The LATINA Style 50 Report sets the standard for identifying corporations that are providing the best career opportunities for Latinas in the country. The report reflects on programs Latinas are looking for when seeking job opportunities. Among the principal areas of evaluation are the number of Latina executives, Latina retention, mentoring programs, educational opportunities, employee benefits, job retraining, affinity groups, and Hispanic relations.
The highlight of the program includes the Award ceremony for New York Life, the No. 1 company for Latinas to Work for in the United States.
"We are humbled and honored to be named LATINA Style's Company of the Year," says New York Life Chairman and CEO Ted Mathas. "While our diversity and inclusion policies, programs, and initiatives provide the framework for a workplace that values and welcomes personal differences, it is our people who bring it to life each and every day."
The program brings together executives, thought leaders, elected officials and key partners from a wide range of sectors to honor Latina achievement.
The day also highlights the LATINA Style Executive of the Year Awards, the Employee Resource Group of the Year Awards, high-impact panels, networking opportunities and more.
