Greenville, NC – The first day of school is always tough, it is even tougher when starting Kindergarten. Kids taking the first big step in their academic career and parents letting their baby birds spread their wings for the first time.
Even more tougher than that is starting Kindergarten, is going to school without proper school supplies. This is a crude reality for many families.
To help ease that problem for some children, the Association for Mexicans in North Carolina (AMEXCAN), Immanuel Baptist Church, and Belvoir Elementary School will be hosting the Back to School Supply Giveaway on Thursday, August 11th at 6:00 pm.
The Back to School Supply Giveaway will be held at Belvoir Elementary School at 2568 NC-33 Greenville, NC 27834.
Free food will be provided for the kids, and the kindergarten students will receive free backpacks filled with school supplies.
So come out and help get the next academic generation ready to set out on their education journey well prepared!
