Latino Commission on AIDS Welcomes New Consul General of Mexico in New York Hon. Diego Gomez Pickering

New York, NY  - During a very productive and cordial meeting, leadership of the Latino Commission on AIDS, led by its President, Guillermo Chacon, had the opportunity to welcome and congratulate Honorable Diego Gomez Pickering as he steps into his role as Consul General of Mexico in New York. The Commission and the staff of "Ventanilla de Salud", a health promotion program at Mexico's consulate, discussed several issues including HIV, mental health and other health needs of the new immigrant community, including the LGBT community.

We will continue working cooperatively on behalf of the most vulnerable populations, including all new immigrant communities."
