Dominicanos USA to announce they have registered over 100,000 voters in NY, Historic mobilization efforts for 2016 Elections

New York, NY  – Dominicanos USA (DUSA), the largest ever effort to register, educate and mobilize Dominican-Americans, will announce that they have registered over 100,000 voters in New York. DUSA has mounted a historic Get-Out-the-Vote campaign to get Dominican-Americans to vote in the 2016 elections. These accomplishments make Dominicanos USA one of the largest efforts to increase Latino civic engagement in the United States.

WHO: Dominicanos USA (DUSA), a 501C-3 non-profit and nonpartisan organization that empowers Dominican-Americans in the United States by registering, educating, and mobilizing them to go out and vote

WHAT: Dominicanos USA is holding a press conference to announce an unprecedented 100,000 new voter registrants in New York, as well as a large scale Get-Out-the-Vote effort for 2016 elections

WHY: This is one of the largest and most effect civic engagement efforts in the nation and the results produced to date are consequential for elections at all levels. DUSA plans to mobilize the new Dominican-American voters for the June 28 federal primary and 2016 Presidential cycle
