 WASHINGTON, DC - The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) proudly announces that it will be showcasing 140 businesses with the support of more than 50 sponsors and partners at its “Fifth Annual Business Expo: Connections, Opportunities and Growth” on Wednesday, March 19th from 9am to 7pm at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.The Expo is the premier event for Washington, DC’s Hispanic business community.

“We are committed to providing a platform with the best resources for information on starting, growing and conducting business – all under one roof!” explains Angela Franco, GWHCC President and CEO. Free to the public, the Expo features five key educational seminars including topics on local government certification, contracting and procurement opportunities within the government and corporate America, international investment opportunities, and online marketing tools. This Expo will again host an International Row, for connecting with Latin American embassies, a Workforce Development Row, to connect with organizations providing staffing services. Brand new in 2014 will be a Health and Wellness section for information and enrollment opportunities in the District’s health exchange with DC Health Link. A Business Reception from 5pm-7pm concludes the day with fabulous authentic ethnic cuisine from GWHCC member restaurants and caterers.

The Expo has successfully increased participation from 500 attendees and 70 exhibitors in 2010 to 1,400 attendees and 120 exhibitors in 2013. This year we anticipate 2,000 attendees and 140 exhibitors. To register click here!
