WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), the nation’s premier Latino youth leadership development and educational services organization, will host a special event “Celebrating Latino Cabinet Members” on Monday, July 28 on Capitol Hill. This historic event will convene members of Congress, White House officials, and other dignitaries with the four Latino cabinet-level members on U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro’s first day in office.
“We are excited to host this unprecedented event convening a group of powerful Latino leaders to recognize their work and highlight the importance of Latino leadership in the highest levels of government,” said Esther Aguilera, CHCI President & CEO.
