LATINO Magazine is hot off the press!

Austin, TX - Hitting the newsstands this week is the latest issue of LATINO Magazine.  The premier publication for Latinos presents its annual listing of the companies providing the most opportunities for Latinos. The LATINO 100 is selected from nominations submitted by Latino nonprofits and community organizations, as well as the magazine's audience of opinion leaders, influencers, corporate executives and government officials.

"An important factor in the selection process was outreach to the Latino community," said LATINO editor Alfredo Estrada. "We reviewed many commendable corporate initiatives, but if there was no effort to communicate them to Latinos, they didn't make the cut. If a tree falls in the forest, and no one hears it, it's irrelevant how much noise it makes."

Among those included are GM, BP and Lockheed Martin, recognized for their support of STEM education. Among the companies cited in areas such as diversity, minority business development, and philanthropy are Allstate, AT&T, Comcast NBC Universal, ExxonMobil, Herbalife, Nissan, National Grid, State Street, MassMutual, Cisco, Chase, Microsoft, Toyota, Target and Sodexo. The entire listing can be seen online at http://www.latinomagazine.com/spring2015/spring2015/latino-100.html

The LATINO 100 companies will be recognized for their contributions at a reception to be held at 5:30-7:30 PM at the Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC on Tuesday, June 9. To RSVP, please contact Dalia Almanza at dalialatinomag@aol.com.
