WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) has opened the nomination process for the 2017 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ (YHCA) program aimed to shape the next generation of Hispanic corporate leaders.

HACR will recognize the professional achievements of Hispanic leaders during a three-day leadership program in Detroit at the Westin Book Cadillac, April 30 – May 2, 2017.

“As the demographics of the country continue to shift, Hispanic inclusion in Corporate America has become more critical,” said HACR President and CEO, Cid Wilson. “The HACR YHCA is a unique opportunity for young Hispanic professionals to further their leadership skills and apply them in such a way to enhance Hispanic inclusion at their companies.”

With ten previous years of success, the HACR YHCA has received nearly 750 nominations and awarded over 250 finalists. This program was established to honor individuals who are shaping the future of Corporate America by showing exceptional leadership qualities and a strong commitment to the Hispanic community.

Corporate America is learning that companies that foster diversity and inclusion at their workplace and understand the importance of having Hispanic decision makers achieve greater success than those that lack Hispanic inclusion. “We are honored to continue to recognize the very best and brightest young executives while providing them with the necessary tools to propel their careers,” Wilson added.
