Washington, DC - GALA Hispanic Theatre has received six nominations for 2017 Helen Hayes Awards, which celebrate excellence in professional theatre in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Cervantes: El último Quijote (The Last Quixote) received five nominations, and El Paso Blue received one nomination.

The nominations are:

GALA, which is celebrating its 41^th anniversary season, congratulates the nominees for their recognition.  The Helen Hayes Awards will be held on May 15, 2017.
