WASHINGTON, DC – Nearly one third of all Latinos go hungry, yet many in our community remain unaware of this problem. To address this, LATINO Magazine will convene the third annual NO MAS HAMBRE Summit on June 19 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.
NO MAS HAMBRE is an initiative launched by LATINO Magazine to raise awareness of hunger in the Latino community and encourage Latinos to get involved. The Summit will feature roundtable discussions with LATINO Editor-in-chief Alfredo Estrada and community leaders, anti-hunger advocates, and government officials. Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham will deliver keynote remarks at 9:30 am.
Invite your friends and colleagues to join us. Attendance is complimentary, but please register at http://www.latinomagazine.com/registration.htm.
