The conference will convene media and telecom industry experts, policymakers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors to highlight the most far-reaching issues affecting multicultural entrepreneurs and underserved communities.

Current FCC Commissioners take on the challenges and opportunities presented by the agency's current policy agenda, addressing such issues as: the state of minority broadcast ownership; how the Commission views the state of the industry; how to achieve success for the underserved in the digital age; Silicon Valley/high tech diversity; opportunities for MWBEs in the spectrum incentive auctions; Lifeline/broadband reform; and privacy and data security.

Former FCC Chairs' Plenary: How Congress and the FCC Can Promote Access to Capital for Diverse Businesses

Former FCC Chairs will discuss some of the most controversial issues before the Commission this year, including the Open Internet, Lifeline reform, process reform, and spectrum policy.  The former Chairs will also provide insight what the FCC's agenda should look like in an era of increased diversity and inclusion and rapid expansion of the media and telecom industries.
