CARECEN Celebrates 37 Years at the Willard Rooftop Terrace this Thursday

Washington, DC - CARECEN, the Latino Resource and Justice Center, celebrates 37 years of service to the Washington, DC metropolitan area this Thursday, September 20th from the spectacular Roof Terrace of the Willard Office Building from 6pm to 10pm, at 1455 F St NW, Washington, DC.

The ticketed event will include appetizers, an open bar, a silent auction, award presentations and live music.

Sulema Salazar, news anchor for Telemundo 44 here in Washington, DC, will be the Mistress of Ceremonies.

U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland will be honored with the Saul Solorzano Justice Award.

In addition, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network will be acknowledged with the Community Empowerment Award.

This year’s Silent Auction features unique art from El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua. It will also feature local distiller baskets and memorabilia from regional sports teams.
